The Fund will have a concentrated portfolio of seven to ten investments. Kaizen Partners, an affiliate of the Kaizen Venture Partners, is the Manager of the Fund.

Targeted investments include:

• Companies in financial distress or undergoing a turnaround
• Companies in bankruptcy or liquidation
• Companies that are undervalued because of discrete extraordinary events.

The Fund will work with the target companies to restructure and pay down debt, and invest in working capital of the business. This provides for financial flexibility needed by underperforming companies and aligns the Fund with shareholders.
